Calculation of the anti-aircraft installation destroyed the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike UAV over the Kherson region

A mobile anti-aircraft group of the 49th Combined Arms Army from the Dnepr group of forces destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the sky over the Kherson region. This was announced on February 14 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The unit has an important task to prevent the enemy from breaking through the airspace. Consequently, combat readiness remains at the highest level at any time of the day. The tasks are completed in all weather conditions, the Russian Defense Ministry noted.

"[We are shooting down] mainly aircraft-type attack UAVs that are flying in our direction. We are fighting them. They absolutely fly in different ways, they can fly very densely during the day and at night, you can't guess here. <...> We are always ready, we always have transport ready, an anti—aircraft gun is ready, everything is loaded," an anti-aircraft gunner with the call sign Horvath tells about his work.

On February 13, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the calculations of the unmanned systems (UAVs) of the Marine Corps of the Center group of forces destroyed the reconnaissance and sabotage group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area of the special military operation (SVO). It was clarified that the enemy was identified during night reconnaissance.
