Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, expressed the opinion on February 13 that the leaders of the European Union (EU) are reviewing their approach to resolving the conflict in Ukraine due to contacts between Moscow and Washington.

"Europe is starting to change its approach, fearing the interaction of Russia and the United States," he wrote on the MAX messenger.

Dmitriev thus commented on the statement by French President Emmanuel Macron during a speech at the Munich security conference on the creation of a direct channel with Russia.
