Macron announced his desire to establish a direct communication channel with Russia

French President Emmanuel Macron said on February 13 that he wanted to create a direct communication channel with Moscow with full transparency for Kiev.

"Therefore, I decided to establish a direct channel of communication with Russia with full transparency for Ukraine, our European partners and American allies," he said, speaking at a security conference in Munich.
