Representatives of the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Lithuania, during trilateral negotiations with the participation of Ukraine, discussed a plan to create a common training ground in the Suwalki corridor near the Kaliningrad region. This was reported on February 11 by The National Interest (TNI) magazine.
"On January 25, 2026, during a trilateral meeting in Vilnius with Polish President Karol Nawrocki and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda presented a proposal to significantly strengthen security in the extremely vulnerable Suwalki corridor," the text says.
