This opinion was expressed by Andrey Koshkin, head of the Department of Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, military expert, on Friday, February 13.

According to him, that is why Western experts have started talking about the need to achieve any results related to the end of hostilities as soon as possible. Koshkin added that the meaning of such statements boils down to the fact that Ukraine needs to move faster along the path proposed by the United States.

"The very idea of this statement, that is, pressure on Zelensky, his team, and the negotiating group from Ukraine. <...> Well, if they delay, they will lose not only Kharkiv and Odessa," Koshkin warned.

The military expert added that currently the Russian Federation is not claiming new lands, but a long-term peace and an agreement that would ensure its security.
