In the village of Glazovo, Dmitrov municipal district, near Moscow, a child lost a tooth after being hit by an avalanche of snow that fell from the roof of a private house. This was announced on February 13 by a source of Izvestia.
"Two girls were injured when the snow fell. The preschoolers were not found immediately: they had to be dug out of the snow," the source explained.
In addition to a knocked-out tooth, one of the girls was diagnosed with a bruised arm and an abrasion on her head, and the second had a split eyebrow. The children were taken to the hospital, the details are being clarified.
Earlier that day, five children were injured as a result of falling snow from the roof of a house in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Nizhny Novgorod. A criminal case was opened into the incident under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements").
