The Finnish national ice hockey team defeated the Swedish team in the second round of the group stage of the 2026 Olympic Games. The match, which took place on February 13, ended with a score of 4:1 in favor of the Finnish team.

Nicolas Matinpalo, Anton Lundell, Joel Armia and Mikko Rantanen scored for the winners. Rasmus Dahlin scored the only goal for the Swedes.

In the next match of the tournament, the Finnish national team will play Italy on February 14, and the Swedish team will face Slovakia on the same day.

The day before, the Canadian national team scored a major 5-0 victory over the Czech team in the first round of the group stage of the ice hockey tournament at the Olympic Games in Italy. On the same day, the Swedish national ice hockey team beat the Italian team in the first round match in the OI groups with a score of 5:2.
