A court has sentenced a resident of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) to nine years in a penal colony for trying to push a stroller with her daughter under a car. This was reported on February 13 in the press service of the Prosecutor's office of the LPR.
It is clarified that in November 2024, after a quarrel with her roommate, the defendant decided that the death of the child would help to establish their personal life. While on the roadway, she deliberately pushed the stroller with the girl under the wheels of a passing car. However, the driver managed to stop the car, the child was not injured.
"The mother of a young girl was sentenced to nine years in prison to serve her sentence in a general regime colony, with a one—year restriction of liberty," the Telegram channel says.
A source from Izvestia reported on February 11 that a local resident in Stavropol had strangled her four-month-old daughter with a pillow. According to the source, the 33-year-old woman strangled the child with a pillow, and then tried to take her own life. The girl's father contacted the police, who came home from work and found his daughter's body.
