The Exeed EX7 crossover will be introduced in China in the first quarter of this year, and in the future it may appear in Russia, where it will be part of the Exlantix line. This is stated in the message of the Chinese brand, which was received by Izvestia on February 13.

A special feature of the Exeed EX7 will be the electromechanical braking system (EMB), analogues of which are used in aviation. It completely lacks traditional hydraulic lines, and uses electrical signals to control independent brake motors mounted on each wheel. In other words, the driver controls the brakes "by wire".

The company notes that this design is characterized by ultra-fast operation and provides a more accurate distribution of braking forces, while the system itself remains very compact. It is stated that the EMB technology has been developed for three years.

"In terms of importance for the entire automotive industry, the massive use of EMB can be compared with the introduction of the ABS system in the past. This step is expected to accelerate the industry's transition to fully electric and electronic control systems," said Exeed.

Earlier, on February 26, it was reported that Exeed had expanded the list of TXL crossover configurations in Russia. Digital services and remote control of vehicle functions have appeared in two new levels of model execution.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
