The Ukrtransnafta company, which transits oil through Ukraine, announced its technical readiness to resume oil transportation via the Druzhba main oil pipeline to Hungary and Slovakia, but the company's management did not give permission to start these supplies. This was reported to TASS on February 13 by sources in the oil industry.

"There is a technical readiness to resume transportation, but there is no decision by the management of Ukrtransnafta to resume transportation," agency sources said.

It is noted that on February 6, the company completed the elimination of an emergency situation at the Brody linear production and dispatch station. At the same time, oil transportation via the Mozyr–Brody pipeline, which sends oil to Hungary and Slovakia, was suspended at the end of January at the request of the Ukrainian side. However, the reason for the shutdown has not yet been disclosed.

On the same day, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto announced that Ukraine had blocked oil supplies from Russia via the Druzhba pipeline to Hungary in order to complicate the situation of the Hungarian government before the parliamentary elections. At the same time, the Druzhba pipeline, according to Szijjarto, is technically fully operational and ready to resume supplies.

At the same time, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia had no information about a possible suspension of oil transit through the Druzhba pipeline.
