Three wolves who terrorized the village were shot in the Pskov region

Hunters shot three wolves in the Pytalovsky district of the Pskov region. They lived on the grounds of the Ecoresource Society.

According to the head of the district Vera Kondratieva, local residents have repeatedly seen predators near their homes. Therefore, a similar decision was made. Kondratieva expressed the hope that now life in the villages will become safer, the Pskov News feed writes.

In December, it was reported that in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, a wolf stole a four-month-old baby from a sleeping woman. The animal entered the house, grabbed the baby and ran away. The mother felt the movement and woke up, but she only saw the wolf hiding. Later, the child's clothes and traces of blood were found about a kilometer from the house.
