Moscow has approved plans for the development of road transport infrastructure for 2026 and summed up the work of the Urban Development Complex for 2025. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his channel in the MAX messenger.

In 2025, Moscow maintained a high pace of construction of transport and engineering infrastructure facilities, the mayor of the capital noted. In particular, the construction of the first stage of the Troitskaya line of the Moscow Metro with a length of 25.2 kilometers has been completed. It includes 11 stations, from ZILa in the Danilovsky district to Novomoskovskaya in Kommunarka.

Last year, the tunneling of the Biryulevskaya line of the Moscow Metro began. In addition, about 100 kilometers of roads have been put into operation, 18 modern overpasses, tunnels and bridges have been built, as well as 27 pedestrian crossings.

"In 2026, the main event in the field of metro construction will be the completion of the construction of the first section of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line. It will include the Business Center, Shelepikha stations, as well as new ones — Zvenigorodskaya, Narodnoe Opolchenie and General Karbyshev Boulevard," Sergei Sobyanin said.

In addition, in 2026 it is planned to build over 90 kilometers of roads and complete the renovation of the Leningrad railway Station.
