The allegations by Oleg Eidelstein, a relative of LDPR founder Vladimir Zhirinovsky, that he was not allowed to attend a party event are a provocation. This was announced on February 13 by the party's press service.

"This is not the first time Oleg Eidelstein has had such a situation. His goal is provocation, he comes to those events where there is always a security clearance, but he never registers, as stipulated by the rules of the venues. We don't have a passageway. These are security issues," the LDPR stressed.
