Welders in Russia can earn 500 thousand rubles per month due to the widespread use of welded structures in most buildings and structures. This was announced on February 13 by Svetlana Kuzmenko, assistant to the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation.

"Of course, the leadership of our industry is doing a great job. Average wages have increased. Welders receive 500 thousand each. <...> This is a very expensive profession, expensive equipment. It is impossible to build without welding, because most bridges and residential and industrial construction facilities require welded structures," she told TASS on the sidelines of the Siberian Construction Forum.
