78% of Russian citizens trust Russian President Vladimir Putin. This is evidenced by the results of a survey by the Public Opinion Foundation (POM), published on its website on February 13.
In addition, 80% of respondents positively assess the work of the head of state in his post.
It is noted that the population survey was conducted from February 6 to February 8. It was attended by 1.5 thousand Russians from 97 settlements across the country.
52% of the survey participants gave a positive assessment of the government's work. At the same time, 56% of respondents positively assessed the work of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
FOM reported on February 6 that Putin's work was positively assessed by 80% of the country's residents. Also, 77% of citizens expressed confidence in the head of state. The activities of the Russian government were supported by 55% of the country's residents, while 57% of Mishustin's work was positively characterized by citizens.
In October, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the data from the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM), according to which Putin and the Russian military are trusted by the vast majority of Russians, are telling indicators.
