Peskov called on the Russian Federation to preserve historical memory against the background of its disregard in the world

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on February 13 that it was important for Russia to preserve the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War (WWII) because of its neglect in the world.

"For us in general, for our country, against the background of such an international disregard for history, it is very important to preserve the memory of that war and the sacrifices that our country made on the altar of Victory," he said in an interview with TASS.
