The US Secretary of Health spoke about the fear of germs because of his past
U.S. Secretary of Health Robert Kennedy Jr. admitted on February 12 that he is not afraid of germs because of his drug past.
Speaking about drug addiction rehabilitation meetings, Kennedy Jr. noted that the Narcotics Anonymous group held face-to-face meetings every day even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I'm not afraid of germs. You know, I used to snort cocaine from toilet seats. And I know that this disease will kill me if I don't treat it, and treatment for me is a daily meeting. [Drugs] are just bad for my life. So for me, it was survival," he said in an interview with podcaster Theo Won, which was posted on his YouTube channel.
On September 30, 2025, at the White House, during a speech by US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office, a funny situation occurred with the "sneeze" of US Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert Kennedy Jr. Then Kennedy sneezed, to which Trump wished him well and hoped that he had not just contracted the COVID-19 virus.
