Militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) dropped a projectile with a timer and detonator on a playground in the city of Vasilevka, Zaporizhia region. This was announced on February 12 by the head of the Vasilyevsky municipal district Natalia Romanichenko.

"Attempts have been made again at a technological terrorist attack on a playground in the city of Vasilyevka. Dropping a projectile with a timer and detonator on the playground of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," she wrote on the Telegram channel.

Romanichenko added that the projectile was discovered by explosives experts of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who promptly defused it. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.

She noted that this was the second such case in February. Romanichenko stressed that "only inhumans who do not have victories at the front can do this."

On February 10, the governor of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a funeral procession in the village of Skelki, Vasilyevsky municipal district, as a result of which six people received shrapnel wounds of varying severity, one person died. Later, Balitsky called the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attack in Skelki a despicable blow to civilians.
