In the Lahdenpokh district of the Republic of Karelia, a skier fell through the ice of Lake Ladoga. This was announced on February 12 by the press service of the Emergency Rescue Service of the Leningrad region.
"The duty shift of the search and rescue squad in the city of Priozersk received information about the disappearance of a man who went skiing on the ice of Lake Ladoga from Kilpola Island," the Telegram channel said.
During the search, rescuers from Priozersk found a wormwood, into which the man fell. The body of the deceased was brought ashore and handed over to law enforcement agencies.
On February 12, the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Novosibirsk Region reported that an eight-year-old girl was tubing in Novosibirsk and fell through the ice of the Ob River.
