The head of Serdobsk, located in the Penza region, resigned on February 12 amid a scandal that broke out on the Internet over housing certificates issued to her by two large migrant families.

"I have decided to leave the post of head of the city. The decision was not easy, but I consider it impossible to continue working in the current conditions," she wrote on her page on the VKontakte social network.
