Electro-L hydrometeorological satellite No. 5 has been launched into geostationary orbit. This follows from the broadcast of Roscosmos.

The satellite was launched to an altitude of 35,406 km in 6 hours and 37 minutes. The satellite's operational orbit will be 35,786 km.
