The court sentenced a resident of Nalchik to 20 years in prison for preparing an explosion on the railway

The Southern District Military Court sentenced Vitaly Gaivoronsky to 20 years in prison for preparing a terrorist attack at a railway station in Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkaria. This was announced on February 12 by a court representative.

"The defendant in order to assist the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine. — Ed.) in activities directed against the security of Russia, he chose the site of the explosion — the Nalchik railway station, which he informed the SBU officer about," RIA Novosti cites the text of the message.

According to the court, in 2023, an employee of the special services of Ukraine convinced Gaivoronsky to cooperate.
