- Moscow court bans websites with book by ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kuleba
The Ostankino Court of Moscow, at the request of the prosecutor's office, banned resources with a book by former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba. This is stated in the case file, which was reviewed by Izvestia on February 12.
It is noted that the book, published in 2019, contains extremist statements aimed at inciting hatred and hostility.
"Open placement in the online public space can have a destructive effect on minors, who are more easily amenable to ideological and psychological influence, as well as on citizens classified as vulnerable," the court's decision emphasizes.
Daria Lebedeva, head of the joint press service of the courts of St. Petersburg, reported last August that the Oktyabrsky City Court had banned the distribution in Russia of three books by the Soviet intelligence defector Vladimir Rezun, known by the pseudonym Viktor Suvorov. It was noted that the publications contain signs of a deliberate influence on public opinion aimed at undermining patriotic traditions and eroding traditional values.
