A number of Chinese automakers have denied rumors of withdrawal from Russia

Chinese automakers Rox Motor, Bestune and Dongfeng have denied media reports about the possible withdrawal of these brands from the Russian market. The relevant reports were received by the Izvestia editorial office on February 12.

The Dongfeng press service said that the brand continues to operate in Russia and is not considering leaving the market.

"The official importer Dongfeng Motor Rus is implementing a long-term presence strategy, including the development of a passenger car dealer network, as well as the supply and support of commercial vehicles. The company continues to work to provide customers with service and spare parts, as well as to expand the availability of cars in the Russian market. All obligations to the owners and partners are fulfilled in full," the company said in a statement.

Representatives of the Bestune brand also stated that they would continue their activities in Russia in full. The brand plans to develop and expand its dealer network.

Rox Motor assured that they consider the Russian market as one of the strategic ones.

"The company has plans only to expand its presence in Russia. Demand for the company's products increased by 44% in January. There is a network consisting of more than 30 dealer enterprises," the press service noted. They recalled that the production of cars was started in Kaliningrad at the facilities of the Avtotor holding.

In 2025, according to AFM-Holding, 4,845 Bestune passenger cars, 1,693 Dongfeng passenger cars and 515 Rox cars were sold.
