Storm warning announced in Yakutia due to snowstorms

In Yakutia, forecasters predict increased wind and snowfall. A storm warning has been issued in the republic.

According to IA YakutiaMedia, the wind speed in Lena and Mirninsky districts on February 13 will reach 15-20 m/s. In the Anabarsky and Bulunsky districts, wind strengthening will be accompanied by a snowstorm.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends that local residents close their windows and prepare tools for snow removal. Motorists are asked not to travel long distances in an unprepared car.

On February 13 and 14, the wind speed in the Trans-Baikal Territory will reach 17-22 m/s. Forecasters predicted a sharp cold snap of 10 degrees.
