The number of catering establishments increased by 15% in Stavropol

In the Stavropol Territory, the number of catering establishments has increased by 15% over the past five years. This was announced by the mayor's office.

According to the StavropolMedia news agency, 550 restaurants, cafes and food courts were operating in Stavropol in 2021. By the beginning of 2026, the number of establishments had reached approximately 640.

The head of Stavropol, Ivan Ulyanchenko, stressed that catering continues to develop in the face of economic difficulties. Delivery services are actively developing in the city.

Earlier it was reported that the small and medium-sized business sector continues to grow in Russia. According to the latest data from the Unified Register of SMEs, more than 6.8 million such enterprises are registered in the country. Compared to the same period in 2025, their number has increased by 247 thousand.
