Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladislav Geraskevich has been disqualified from the Olympic Games in Milan for using a banned helmet. The press service of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) informed Izvestia about this on February 12.

"Vladislav Geraskevich, who is engaged in skeleton, was denied participation in the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina after refusing to comply with the IOC rules on athletes' self—expression," the statement said.
