Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban jokingly offered to "throw" Ukraine into the European Union (EU). This was reported on February 12 by the Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet.
At a speech to voters, Orban was asked what he would do with Ukrainians who seek to join the European Union.
"If they don't kick the side of the car, I'll give them a ride. Are you going to Brussels too?" the Prime Minister replied.
