On Thursday, February 12, US President Donald Trump will hear a report from American intelligence amid the aggravation of relations between Iran and the United States. The relevant information follows from his schedule, published on February 12 on the Roll Call portal.

According to the schedule, at 11:00 local time (19:00 Moscow time) Trump will hear the intelligence report in the Oval Office. The event will be closed to the press.

Trump will make a joint announcement with the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency at 13:30 local time (21:30 Moscow time), followed by two closed meetings.

Israel intends to tighten the terms of the deal with Tehran so that it is not limited only to the nuclear program.

On February 11, Trump announced that he had discussed with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the possibility of continuing negotiations with Iran. According to him, the United States is ready for any development in relations between Iran and Israel, including the absence of negotiations. At the same time, the American leader expressed the hope that the Iranian authorities would approach the negotiations wisely and show great responsibility.

On the same day, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, said that the United States had probably abandoned the military scenario against Tehran. According to him, Israel is deliberately trying to oppose the negotiations between the Iranian and American sides.
