Residents of the capital collect goods for soldiers of the special military operation (SVO) in the pavilions of the Gift Factory as part of an action dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day. This was reported on February 12 on the website of the Mayor of Moscow. mos.ru .

"Collecting aid is a painstaking process. Thanks to the volunteers, each gift finds its recipient safely. Muscovites bring a lot of important goods to the Gift Factory pavilions, from warm clothes for defenders to school kits for children," said Alexander Levit, director of the Mosvolonter resource center.

The message clarifies that the volunteers help pack gifts for the fighters, as well as sign postcards with words of support. In addition to gifts for people, Muscovites also carry items intended for pets.

The volunteers in the pavilions also monitor the quality of the goods and their shelf life, which must be at least three months away. In addition, all gifts are checked for the original packaging.

Earlier, the website of the mayor of the capital reported that Natalia, a farmer living in the Moscow suburb of Lukhovitsy, has been regularly sending Russian servicemen some of the vegetables and fruits harvested in her own garden since the beginning of her military training. For a farmer, such assistance is a direct manifestation of patriotism. She called on other people to help the special operation soldiers as well.
