A marine of the Russian Armed Forces spoke about the use of civilians by the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a shield in Rodinsky

Ukrainian military personnel in the village of Rodinskoye, located in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), used civilians as a shield, placing them in the basement of a house to avoid attacks by Russian drones. A marine from the Center group of Russian troops told about this on February 12.

Earlier that day, a marine soldier from the Center group of forces told about a civilian whose husband was shot by militants while trying to escape.

"She told us her story that she and her husband were in the basement, where the Ukrainian army had lowered all the locals and was next to them so that our drones, seeing civilians from the sky, would not strike at the Ukrainian Armed Forces," the marine told RIA Novosti.

Also, according to the stories of the evacuated woman, the attitude of the Ukrainian soldiers towards the locals was extremely cruel. All the food they found was taken away by the military.
