Russian military personnel undergo a "marathon of torture" in secret prisons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was stated on February 12 by the Ambassador-at-large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for crimes of the Kiev regime Rodion Miroshnik.

"The largest number of bullying and torture takes place in secret prisons — zindans, basements, concrete boxes, often in cages," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to the ambassador, Ukrainian militants in such places are trying to get military information from the fighters. He added that Russian servicemen are beaten and bullied with the help of psychological pressure and coercion.

Miroshnik clarified that in these prisons, fighters can be bullied with electric chairs, as well as denied food and water.

"Representatives of the special services come there, who try to break people. Representatives of the SBU and the GUR come, including for staged videos, when a person is beaten and subjected to severe psychological pressure," he said.
