On February 11, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called on Jim Ratcliffe, the owner of the international chemical group Ineos and co-owner of the Manchester United football club, to apologize for his words about the colonization of Great Britain by migrants.

"Great Britain is a country of pride, tolerance and diversity. Jim Ratcliffe must apologize," he wrote in X (ex. Twitter).

In addition, Starmer called Ratcliffe's statements erroneous and offensive.

On February 11, Ratcliffe expressed the opinion that the UK is colonized by migrants who absorb government resources through receiving benefits. He also noted that the UK's population has increased significantly in recent years.
