Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on February 12 compared the cautious attitude towards artificial intelligence (AI) with the reaction to the appearance of the first looms in England of the XVIII century.

"It's always perceived as a threat. And now, too, the point of view that artificial intelligence can be harmful is being very well argued," he said in an interview with NEW TASS.
