Sergeant Kirill Potapov destroyed four reconnaissance and attack Ukrainian UAVs

During a special military operation, Sergeant Kirill Potapov, as commander of an anti-aircraft missile unit, destroyed four reconnaissance and attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on February 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

On one of the fronts, a sergeant who was part of the calculation of an anti-aircraft missile battery successfully covered the advancing motorized rifle units from the air. In a tense battle, he personally shot down four enemy drones.

Thanks to his high qualifications and the coordinated actions of the team, the task of ensuring the safety of the assault groups was performed flawlessly, without a single loss among the personnel. This allowed the assault groups to successfully advance deep into the enemy defenses.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the decisive actions of Lieutenant Dmitry Kopatko as commander of a motorized rifle platoon, who was the first to enter the village during the fighting and took on enemy fire.

During the offensive on one of the sections of the front of the special operation, the lieutenant led an assault group involved in the liberation of the settlement. Showing determination and composure, he was the first to break into the settlement and engage in battle with the enemy.

During the clash, the lieutenant personally eliminated the machine-gun crew of the nationalists, which allowed his group to advance further. As a result of the operation, Kopatko's group captured four soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thanks to his courage, bravery and competent, selfless actions, it was possible to take more advantageous positions during the liberation of the settlement.
