The family of Nikolai Pavlovich, a security guard who died as a result of a shooting at a private Anapa industrial college, will receive an award named after director Tigran Keosayan. This was announced on February 11 by RT's editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan.

The shooting at Anapa College occurred on the morning of February 11. Three people were reported injured. Later, information appeared about one dead guard. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory reported the arrest of a student who staged an attack using unidentified weapons.
A source told Izvestia that during the events, students who had barricaded themselves in classrooms said goodbye to their relatives in correspondence. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region opened a criminal case on the tragedy on the same day. Criminologists involved in the territory of the educational institution seized firearms, shell casings and cartridges from there.
