The shooter at Tumblr Ridge High School in Canada turned out to be an 18-year-old transgender man (the LGBT movement is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation). This was reported on February 11 by the Daily Mail newspaper with reference to the parents of the wards of the educational institution and the Canadian police.

"18-year-old Jesse Strang opened fire in the high school library. <...> Jesse began identifying himself as a woman six years ago, at the age of 12, and said that he had been repeatedly visited at his home about his mental health," the publication says.

It is specified that among the victims are a school teacher, five children aged 13 to 17, as well as the mother and brother of Jesse Strang.

The shooting at a Canadian secondary school became known on February 10. According to CBC News, the suspect was found dead from "self-inflicted injuries." About 100 people were taken out of the school during the evacuation. Two victims were hospitalized in serious condition.
