Changan talked about equipping a new crossover for Russia
The Changan CS35 Max crossover will be available on the Russian market in three trim levels — Comfort, Luxe and Tech. This is reported in the company's press release, which was received by Izvestia on February 11.
The initial Comfort package includes a digital dashboard with an additional screen, a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch display and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The front seats are upholstered and heated. The steering wheel is also heated. The equipment includes a rear-view camera, three rear parking sensors. The wheel size is 17 inches.
In the Luxe package, the wheels are already 18-inch, a Sony audio system is available, an expanded digital dashboard and an enlarged central one. The seats are finished with eco-leather. In addition, there is an all-round view system, a video recorder and a special snow driving mode.
In the top Tech configuration, the car is equipped with a panoramic roof, electric adjustment of the driver's seat, electric tailgate and adaptive cruise control.
All configurations of the new CS35 Max have been trained for Russia: Russified interface, winter package, enhanced noise and vibration isolation, anti-corrosion treatment of the galvanized steel body, increased side glazing thickness of 4 mm, plastic fenders and antifreeze designed for temperatures up to -35 °C.
The car is available in three colors — Interstellar Gray, Star White and Star Diamond Black.
On February 4, the Autostat agency reported that by the end of January 2026, 80.6 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia, which is 9.5% less than in the same month of 2025. Lada is still the market leader, its share was about a quarter (a year ago it exceeded 30%). In the first month of this year, 19.6 thousand new passenger cars of the domestic brand were sold.
