The Krasnodar Territory will strengthen measures to ensure anti-terrorist security in educational institutions after the shooting at Anapa college. This was announced on February 11 by the Minister of Education and Science of the region Elena Vorobyeva.

"Today, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Krasnodar Territory held an operational meeting with the heads of public and private educational organizations <...> on strengthening measures to ensure the anti—terrorist protection of educational organizations," Vorobyova wrote on the Telegram channel.

She urged parents and teachers to communicate with children more often and to be interested in their problems in order to prevent cases of breakdowns of schoolchildren and students. She also said that a mobile psychological center had been set up in Anapa, where you can call a hotline to talk with educational psychologists.

The shooting at one of Anapa's technical schools became known earlier that day. It was noted that the territory of the educational institution was cordoned off. The Interior Ministry of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory reported that the student who started the shooting was detained.

As a result of the incident, a security guard was killed, and two more people were injured. According to the governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, the deceased reacted promptly, blocked the attacker's entrance to the building and managed to call law enforcement officers.

The office of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region reported that a criminal case had been opened into the shooting at a technical school in Anapa. It was noted that the father of the attacked teenager learned about the shooting from journalists. Later, criminologists seized firearms, shell casings and cartridges at the scene.
