Sergunina spoke about career guidance projects in Moscow
There are many career guidance projects for young people in the city. The programs cover such areas as entrepreneurship, culture, innovation, tourism, and media. According to Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina, the capital supports children in the process of choosing a profession, further employment and starting their own business.
"The city offers young Muscovites all the opportunities for self-realization. For example, aspiring professionals take training courses, train at Moscow City Hall and leading companies, receive expert advice, and participate in career forums and exhibitions," Sergunina said.
One of the key platforms for exploring promising professions is the Technograd innovation and educational complex at VDNH. Here, residents of the capital receive knowledge and practical skills to work in such areas as information technology, design, video production, data analytics, business process automation, marketing, and others. In 2025, 12 thousand people joined the programs.
There is also an internship program for young people in the Moscow government. It includes eight areas, including "Media City", "Urban Economy", and "HR City". A record number of applications were received in the new stream for one of the most popular — "IT city": more than 10 thousand.
In addition, last year the capital launched an updated portal "Youth of Moscow". Users can get expert advice on preparing resumes and job interviews, find vacancies for large companies, and book venues for work and creativity.
Also, in January of this year, the Moscow International Student Entrepreneurship Festival "Studfest" was held in the capital, which brought together 10,000 people. Master classes, presentations of technological solutions by urban innovators and much more were organized for visitors.
