Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the regulations on the general staff of the Russian National Guard troops. The relevant decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on February 11.

"In order to improve the service and combat activities of the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, I decree: to approve the attached Regulations on the General Staff of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation," the document says.

It is noted that the decree comes into force from the date of its signing.
