The expert assessed the prospects of the draft law on the "Russian regiment"
Dmitry Shishkin, President of the Association of Subjects of Light Industry and the Fashion Industry Roslegprom, told Izvestia that the draft law on the "Russian shelf" for non-food products could stimulate the creation of tens of thousands of new jobs and attract hundreds of millions of dollars or billions of rubles of investments in high-tech industries.
According to him, limiting commissions on marketplaces for domestic manufacturers will give them a competitive advantage and a good boost to retail and retail in general.
"The initiative to create a Russian shelf will give an additional impetus to internal cooperation in the industry," Shishkin stressed.
The expert added that the measures could lead to an increase in the share of domestic goods in the domestic market by a maximum of 25%, and in the worst case — by 10-20%.
"This may encourage many foreign companies to localize at least part of their production in Russia," he said.
According to Shishkin, with the successful implementation of the bill, we can talk about tens of thousands of new jobs and significant investments in automated production, which will ensure the transfer of high technologies to the industry.
As it became known, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has developed a draft law on the "Russian shelf", which provides for requirements for national non-food products, including confirmation of their origin.
