- Zhoga pointed out the usefulness of combat experience for participants in their civil service
The combat experience of the participants of the special military operation (SVO) helps them to work effectively in the civil service. This was announced on February 11 by the presidential envoy to the Ural Federal District, Artyom Zhoga.
"A combat situation teaches you to make decisions quickly. <...> And of course, teamwork [becomes important], because no matter how great people are, there is no way without a team. The most important thing is stress tolerance," he said at the first International Congress of Public Administration in Moscow.
Zhoga added that the stress tolerance of the SVO fighters helps them better cope with non-standard situations that "unsettle an ordinary person."
The participants of the discussion also noted the effectiveness of the federal program "Time of Heroes" and its regional counterparts aimed at integrating veterans of the military into the public administration system.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Vladimir Yakushev on December 15 last year, said that veterans of their military service in government would keep special control over the support of military personnel and their families. According to Yakushev, voting on legislative initiatives to support the participants of the SVO and their loved ones is almost unanimous.
Before that, on December 9, the Russian leader announced the need to adapt veterans of the special operation. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in turn, noted that the Russian Federation had done a lot to provide various types of assistance to the heroes of the SVR.
