Lithuanian President urges EU to refrain from scratching Kremlin's doors
European politicians should stop expressing their intentions to go and "scratch at the door" of the Kremlin. This opinion was expressed on February 11 by Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda.
"In this case, I see an opportunity to act together, rather than sending one representative or another to knock or scratch on the Kremlin's doors and talk to one representative or another there," LRT quoted him as saying.
As the politician added, the words of the heads of the European Union (EU) countries about negotiations with the Russian leadership do not add solidity to the entire continent.
