Putin instructed to celebrate the 90th anniversary of director Govorukhin in 2026

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on celebrating the 90th anniversary of the birth of film director Stanislav Govorukhin in 2026. The relevant decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on February 11.

"I decree: 1. To hold events in 2026 dedicated to the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the birth of Stanislav Sergeevich Govorukhin," the document says.

According to the decree, an organizing committee has been formed to prepare and hold the anniversary event. Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma, was appointed its chairman. The composition of the organizing committee has also been approved.

On February 6, the President of Russia congratulated People's Artist of the RSFSR, theater and film actor Vladimir Zamansky on his 100th birthday. Putin noted that Zamansky went through the front-line roads of the Great Patriotic War, and then devoted himself to art, becoming a talented and sought-after artist.
