A thrift store in Cherepovets was fined 10,000 rubles for publicly displaying the uniform of the Third Reich. On February 11, Izvestia was informed about this in the Cherepovets City Court.

According to the court, in December 2025, Nazi uniforms were placed in the store — an officer's field jacket of the military police of the Third Reich with the image of the corresponding coat of arms.

Commenting on the incident, the store's director said that the uniform was a gift from one of the visitors. He put the thing in order and intended to transfer it to a museum or theater, but there were no people willing to take the jacket.

According to the man, the uniform was stored in a warehouse, and then hung in a store, but was not sold. After that, the jacket, according to him, was donated to charity.

On February 9, the Moscow City Court announced that it would consider the merits of the criminal case of Arsen Markaryan, accused of rehabilitating Nazism and insulting the memory of defenders of the Fatherland. The investigative authorities completed the investigation of the criminal case against the blogger in December last year.

Markaryan's detention became known on August 23 last year. The police found the blogger in the trunk of a car that was stopped near Kubinka in the Moscow region. On December 29, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow extended the term of Markarian's arrest in the case of insulting the memory of defenders of the Fatherland until February 22, 2026. The court also rejected the defense's request to commute the blogger's punishment to house arrest.
