In Chita, the prosecutor's office of the Central District once again revealed violations during the overhaul of the Trans-Baikal Regional Clinical Hospital. It turned out that the contractor was more than a month behind schedule, and the workers were not provided with construction helmets.

The amount of the contract concluded in April 2025 by the hospital with Sphere LLC exceeds 1.9 billion rubles. The work, consisting of three stages, should be completed in November 2027, writes ChitaMedia news agency with reference to the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

In addition, the prosecutors found that over the course of 0.5 years, the contractor had failed to comply with seven building control regulations. We are talking about violations in the maintenance of documentation, deviations in the size and thickness of the seams of the brickwork. The customer himself does not apply any measures and does not impose fines for violations.

In December, it was reported about the continuation of the construction of a children's polyclinic in the village of Textile workers in Chita. The facility's readiness has reached 79%, the regional prosecutor's office has established, which is monitoring the completion of work. We are talking about the construction of a five-storey building worth more than 2 billion rubles. It will house the children's polyclinic unit No. 1 of the Children's Clinical Medical Center. As noted in the prosecutor's office, earlier, during the construction of the polyclinic, a delay in schedule was recorded. In this regard, a submission was made to the contractor, and more active work began on the site.
