In 2025, units of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued and evacuated over 240,000 citizens to safe areas. This was announced on February 11 by the first deputy head of the Government of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.

"The emergency response, along with the construction of predictive models, made it possible to reduce the economic damage from the rampant elements, from acts of external influence and the influence of the human factor by more than one and a half times," he said.

Manturov noted that such results were achieved thanks to effective coordination between the central office and the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as the professionalism and courage of the personnel.
