Pervouralsky city court arrested in absentia the former deputy Minister of housing and communal services and energy of the Sverdlovsk region Sergey Gaida. This was reported to RIA Novosti on February 11 by the joint press service of the courts of the region.

"He was arrested in absentia by the Pervouralsky city court. According to the article on mediation in bribery on a particularly large scale," said the agency interlocutor.

According to the court, a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen in relation to Gaida. He is being held in a criminal case on mediation in large-scale bribery.
