Davis called Lavrov's words about the West's escalation of the conflict in Ukraine true

Retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis supported the statement by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov about the West's intention to continue escalating the conflict in Ukraine. He announced this on February 10 on the Rachel Blevins YouTube channel.

"They are doing exactly the opposite: they are not showing that they want to reduce tensions, but they want to keep the heat on," he said.

Davis recalled that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte recently promised comprehensive military support to Ukraine, which, in his opinion, does not contribute to a diplomatic settlement, but rather prolongs the conflict.

According to Davis, Western leaders continue to hope for a "miracle" in the form of Russia's defeat, despite the lack of a clear plan to end the conflict. He described this approach as irrational, illogical and immoral, as it could lead to the deaths of even more Ukrainians.
